Preschool

The preschool program is based on learning through play in a relaxed, safe, and caring atmosphere. Activities help foster the development of creativity, imagination, coordination, and music appreciation. Children at this age enjoy number and letter activities, science, cooking, stories, dramatic play, blocks, arts-and-crafts projects, music, and field trips. We encourage children to develop gross motor skills through outdoor play. Field trips are expanded for this age-group to include playgrounds and businesses, as well as community sites such as the library and post office. Our teachers help each child continue to develop a strong and positive self-concept as a foundation for future learning experiences. A part-time preschool program is also available.
